Ami’s Sour Loaf is founded and run by me, Ami! I am a first generation Vietnamese American with a passion for good food and community. I believe in the philosophy of balance - a balance of old world techniques and new world innovations, a balance of different ingredients and beautiful flavors.

I founded my small business towards the latter of 2022. After two years of repeated layoffs and last minute rescinded offers, I decided to take a leap of faith and create a job and structure for myself by following a dream I'd had for years: running a small bakery where people know whom nurtures the dough and bakes the breads and where they can enjoy delicious healthful baked goods. The rest is history!
