Welcome to Ami's Table.

Where artisan bread, hands-on learning, and community come together.

Hi! I'm Ami, founder of Ami's Sour Loaf—an artisan bakery, baking studio, and culinary classroom in Port St. Lucie, Florida.

What started in 2022 as a small home bakery has grown into something much bigger than I ever imagined. Today, Ami's Sour Loaf is a place where people discover naturally fermented bread, learn new skills, and gather around the table to share stories, traditions, and really good food.

Whether you're picking up your weekly sourdough loaf, joining a bread baking workshop, rolling Vietnamese spring rolls, or saying hello at the farmers market, my hope is that you leave feeling a little more connected than when you arrived.

Artisan Bread

Bread is at the heart of everything I do.

Every loaf is naturally leavened with sourdough starter, slowly fermented for exceptional flavor, and handcrafted in small batches using thoughtfully sourced ingredients. My baking style blends traditional techniques with a modern approach, creating bread that's both beautiful and meant to be enjoyed every day.

You'll also find seasonal cookies and specialty bakes throughout the year because... life is simply better with dessert.

Learn With Me

One of the greatest joys of this journey has been teaching.

I believe anyone can learn to bake great bread or cook incredible food with the right guidance, encouragement, and a little practice.

I teach throughout the Treasure Coast in a variety of settings—from my own baking studio and the Bake Night with Ami series to private events, local 55+ communities, and public community programs in partnership with area parks and recreation departments.

Bread Baking

Whether it's your very first sourdough loaf or you're ready to dive deeper into fermentation and shaping, my bread classes focus on understanding techniques rather than memorizing recipes.

My goal is simple: help you leave feeling confident enough to continue baking long after class is over.

Asian Cooking

As a first-generation Vietnamese American, sharing the food I grew up with is one of the most meaningful parts of my work.

My cooking workshops celebrate Vietnamese and other Asian cuisines through approachable, hands-on experiences. Together we'll make everything from crispy eggrolls and fresh spring rolls to vibrant noodle bowls and family-inspired dishes that are meant to be shared.

Food has always been how my family expressed love. Teaching these recipes is my way of passing that tradition on.

My Philosophy

The best food brings people together.

That's why every loaf I bake and every class I teach is about more than just recipes. It's about slowing down, learning something new, laughing through the messy parts, and creating memories around the table.

If you leave with a beautiful loaf of bread, wonderful.

If you leave feeling inspired to bake, cook, and gather with the people you love, then I've done my job.

Thank you for being here.

I can't wait to welcome you to the table.

See you around the table,

Ami
